A new and innovative tool to use in video production. How it Works
The Lightboard acts like a transparent whiteboard which is positioned in front of the presenter allowing them to draw/write on the glass while facing their audience (the camera). It is a custom built 1.8m x 1.2m pane of ultra clear glass, mounted on a steel frame and edge lit with LED lights. The pens used are specific neon pens which allow the content to glow as it is illuminated by the built in LED lights around the frame. The image is then flipped in post production to ensure the written content is the correct way around for your audience.
The Lightboard can be used as a visual aid to share knowledge and present while engaging with your audience. It is designed to be used in the same way a whiteboard would be in the classroom, you can highlight key points, explain concepts or draw diagrams, without turning your back on the audience. In addition other sources of information such as tables, images or graphs can be inserted digitally so that you can point out relevant information.
