A UNIQUE VISUAL AID
This is not an expensive or complicated post-production process, this is filmed in real-time on set with the Lightboard; a 2.8m by 1.5m specialist glass board that is edge-lit with LEDs. When drawn on with chalk pens, this makes the fluorescent ink pop off the screen! Filmed on a black background with high-key lighting gives the image rich contrast and bold colours.
The Lightboard can be used for all sorts of applications; from talking heads, explainers and thought-leadership content, to branded videos, illustrations, art and graphic design pieces. Clients have used it for all sorts of creative content; it’s the canvas for a YouTube Kids channel teaching young children how to draw, it’s been used in a documentary for an NGO to illustrate a contributor’s story, it’s even been used by BBC Sport for a promo aired on MOTD and Football Focus!
